Information Disclosure
Except as described in this Privacy Policy, Weal does not share, sell, or rent personal information without permission or unless required by law.
We work with third-party services in the United States (such as our web host, backup, and payment provider) that have limited access to personal information solely for the purposes of performing services on our behalf. These services are required to handle data following our security and privacy standards.
Customers may choose to integrate third-party applications via API keys, allowing access to data within their Weal account. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services; users should review and understand the privacy policies of third-party services before use.
In certain circumstances, we may disclose personal information to comply with the law, enforce our Terms of Service, protect our rights, or in case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Security of Your Personal Information
We take security seriously. Personal information is encrypted, stored securely, and access is restricted to those who need it. We review our technology and processes regularly to maintain security.
If there is a security breach that affects directly collected information, we will notify affected users within 72 hours. In cases involving indirectly collected information, we will notify affected customers so they can inform impacted individuals.
Access, Correction, and Deletion of Personal Information
- Access: You can request a copy of your data via email at [email protected].
- Correction: If you believe there is an error in your information, you may correct it yourself (where available) or request a correction.
- Deletion: You may request the deletion of your personal information. We will comply unless required to retain it by law, in which case you will be informed of the retention reason.
If you need to transfer your data to another service, you may request your information in a commonly used, machine-readable format.
You may withdraw your consent for data processing at any time, but this may impact Weal’s functionality.
Data Controlled by Our Customers
Weal users may submit information to the Service for hosting and processing (“Customer Data”). Trilops, LLC does not access, share, or distribute this Customer Data except as described in Weal’s Terms of Service or as required by law. We may access Customer Data to provide the Services, address technical issues, or prevent abuse, as necessary.
If you are an individual whose data has been entered by a Weal user and wish to exercise your rights to access, correct, amend, or delete your data, please contact the Weal customer who entered your data. We will support them as needed in responding to your request.
Local Access and Privacy Laws
We acknowledge that Weal users may have local obligations relating to their clients’ data privacy and that we must comply with certain legal frameworks where required. However, please note that Trilops, LLC is based in the United States and does not operate under GDPR or UK GDPR.
